Germany saw the highest number of mentions, totaling almost 25.400, with a significant peak on February 23, the day of its highly contested parliamentary elections, when it recorded over 1.100 mentions and an estimated 12.8 million views.

The UK reached the widest overall audience, with an estimated 639.8 million views across the entire period. Its cumulative visibility was highest on March 1, when President Zelensky met Prime Minister Starmer at Downing Street ahead of the defense summit in London (and immediately following the much-discussed Oval Office meeting of the Ukrainian and US officials), contributing to the publishing of 581 online mentions, estimated to have reached a potential 10.7 million views.

Digital dynamics (12)

France registered approximately 21.500 mentions, with a notable acceleration between February 17–19 occasioned by the two successive emergency Ukraine talks in Paris. Still, its most visible moment occurred on March 5, following President Macron’s speech referencing Romania, which significantly contributed to the peak of 605 mentions in a single day, corresponding to an estimated total of 11.3 million views.

These visibility patterns reflect how political developments and diplomatic signals from key European actors resonate within Romania’s digital public sphere, particularly in a time of heightened regional and global uncertainty.
