Summary

  • Russia remains in first place, with the most mentions, but it is declining. It is followed by the EU and the US. NATO, which drops one position compared to last month, and Germany, which maintains its place are next in the ranking. France and Great Britain follow in the hierarchy. The top of the mentions is closed by China and Israel.
    • The general evolution of the number of mentions is decreasing for the vast majority of the analyzed actors. The exception is France, which is growing and the EU, which remains constant.
  • In terms of viewership, on the first position is the EU, which manages to surpass Russia. In third place is the United States. As in the case of the mentions, the top of the views reveals an imbalance, the first two ranked – the EU and Russia – being at a great distance from the third place (USA). Germany and NATO follow in the hierarchy, and at the bottom of the ranking are China, France and the United Kingdom. Israel is in the last position but this is the actor that has the most consistent growth (over three times) from one month to another.
    • Israel and Germany are the only actors that have an increase in this indicator. For everyone else, June means a decrease in the number of views.
  • All the actors considered have the most mentions on social networks (Facebook), but the biggest impact is on the mentions in the online press.
  • The vast majority of mentions are in the context of the Russia-Ukraine war, the NATO Summit in Madrid, the EU decision on granting Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova candidate status or the visit of the four European leaders – Macron, Scholz, Draghi and Iohannis – to Kyiv. The exception is Israel, which is less associated with these events. France is also noted with mentions related to the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic.
